Get involved behind the scenes with the St. Bart’s Players!

Founded in 1927, the St. Bart’s Players is the longest-running community theatre group in New York City. We are a non-equity, membership-based group dedicated to presenting high-caliber, quality theatre at affordable prices.

We are always looking for people who would like to join our production crew. We have lots of great volunteer opportunities to get involved and become part of our community!

Here’s how:

  • Work backstage

  • Run lights or sound

  • Assemble/make props

  • Sew and/or help with costume changes/maintenance during a show

  • Work box office/concessions/usher

  • Assist with load-in and strike

  • Assist with set building/painting

and many other fun jobs!

You do not need experience with any of these roles — we will help you!

Members and audiences alike have long considered the St. Bart’s Players the friendliest community theatre company in New York. Please come join us!
