"A CHRISTMAS CAROL" DECEMBER 5, 6, AND 7

Start the holiday season with The Players production of "A CHRISTMAS CAROL" by Charles Dickens! Presented in the Chapel, this staged reading, directed by Brian Feehan, features a cast of 14 who play ALL of the beloved characters (and they sing, too)! As a special treat for our audiences, carolers will perform before the show ensuring that all are in a holiday mood when the curtain rises.

The Cast: Bonnie Berens, Bob Berger, Lesley Berry, Charlene Biton, Jill Conklin, Reanna Flemons, Danielle Giorgetti, Joe Hunt, Hope Landry, Mikey LoBalsalmo, Chazmond Peacock, Veronica Shea, Katherine Weall and Vikki Willoughby.

Barbara Blomberg and Maryjane Baer are producing, Dawn Johnson is our stage manager and we are thrilled to have David Salyers providing musical direction. Crew needs will be posted in the coming weeks.

So, mark your calendars for December 5, 6, and 7th for this wonderful event!

SEASON 2012 - PLAY SELECTION

As those of you who attended our last membership meeting know, we are knee deep in play selection for the Spring. The Play Reading committee has been busy reading (and reading out loud) several scripts to find the right one for our group.

We've applied for rights for 2 shows, but are still looking for suggestions. If you think you know the right straight play for The Players, send it in!

We are planning to produce 2 main stage shows next season, one in late April/early May and one in the Fall. Keeping in mind the make-up of our membership, we ask that the play have 7-10 cast members of varied ages and genders - preferably no children - and simple set requirements. Both the play and musical suggestions need to be main stream and sellable - but also within our financial means and casting abilities. Please email suggestions to info@stbartsplayers.org.
